Course content
Literary museums preserve records of writers and directors who have produced various works (content) such as novels and films. However, people are prone to making mistakes. Disagreements can arise from strained relationships, or disputes over rights can escalate into conflicts... In this lecture, using court records that I came across while writing a textbook on intellectual property (copyright) as a starting point, let's take a peek at the very human side of creators (a side that is often downplayed in the serious exhibits of literary museums).
