What are advance notices and advance application acceptance?

We inform our members about lectures and events hosted by the literary museum before they are posted on our website or distributed as flyers.

Since you can apply before general registration opens, it becomes easier to participate in events with limited capacity.

General Members / Student Members

• Free admission to special exhibitions (twice a year)
• The admission fee for the third and subsequent visits to the special exhibition is the group rate.

Corporate member

• Issue 10 corporate membership cards.
• Members can view special exhibitions free of charge up to twice a year (maximum 20 people per year).

Supporting member

• Admission to special and permanent exhibitions is free.
• One accompanying person is always admitted free of charge.
• You are invited to the planning and launch ceremony (a catalog will be presented to attendees).

2. Events organized by Tomo no Kai

Tomo no Kai holds various events to deepen friendships among members and to help them enjoy literature in a more accessible way.

A 2-day, 1-night training trip (approximately twice a year)

Day trip bus tours (approximately twice a year)

Workshop & Tea Party

In addition to visiting literary sites and cultural facilities related to the special exhibition, it also provides an opportunity for members to deepen their interactions with each other.

3. Types of Membership and Membership Fees

General member annual fee 2,000 yen

Student member annual fee 1,000 yen

Corporate membership: 20,000 yen per year

Supporting members (individuals/corporations) from ¥10,000

5-year membership (individual): 10,000 yen

5-year membership (corporate): 100,000 yen

*This form is for those who wish to pay by payment slip or by bank transfer to a designated account.
*After confirming your payment, your membership card and membership benefits will be sent to your registered address.
*Membership is valid until the end of the month one year after the month of enrollment (5-year membership is valid until the end of the month five years later).
